| Welcome to the one and only www.Just4Dosti.com/forum/ Just4Dosti.com serves as a way to wash out all your stresses and tensions by playing games and amusing your fellow mates.... to kick their shoes off, get creative and have a little fun without age/caste/nationality restrictions.... nothing serious here..  That's amazing!!! But why should I post in here then?? Well, it's a time pass forum meant for making friends and getting to know each other better.. does anything more important in life other than friendship bond.. A more accurate question would be, why shouldn't you? The idea of this board is not to invite SPAM or thoughtless posts. Those who use this board for such purposes are encouraged to reconsider their behavior herein, and adopt a more appropriate style. Style? Does that mean my Red Coat and Yellow Tie aren't allowed here? Every online community, be they newsgroups, blogs or forums have their own ideas of appropriate netiquette,or accepted Rules and Regulations of participation. Yes, even the Just4Dosti.com board has to have Rules and Regulations. And before you ask why, I'll tell go ahead and tell you. * Because you're not the only one here, and certain posting habits can be annoying, frustrating and inconsiderate to your Just4Dosti neighbors. * Also because we too have some promises and goals to be achieved, anyone disobeying the rules may get banned. Now comes few light rules: Let us now list a few rules which you as a Just4Dosti member are responsible for adhering to whilst at the Just4Dosti board. Behold the Just4Dosti Rules: * Engage brain before posting. Otherwise known as the Don't Post Unless You Actually Have Something to Add rule. * ie, If you decide to rate or reply to the something of the user above you, at least make an effort to research that something if you don't already understand it. Either that, or wait for someone who *does.* * Don't sidetrack threads with unrelated pictures or references. * All posts should be at least one full-sentence, with correct grammar and spelling. Alright, we'll forgive the grammar and spellling so long as you make the attempt to make your posts legible. But we do require at least one full sentence posts. The exception will be where the game lends itself to one word answers (ie, ABC games). Moderators can, and will, combine any multiple posts made into one post. * Also, let's give EVERYONE a chance to play in the games... so, you aren't allowed to lurk around a thread and reply as soon as some one else does. This shall at this point be referred to as the Ultimate and Mighty Four Post Rule. You will obey, respect and love the Ultimate and Mighty Four Post Rule which dictates that you shall NOT reply to a thread until at least FOUR other people have replied to your last post in a manner appropriate for the thread (aka they're actually playing the game!). * Moderators of the Just4Dosti forum reserve the right to delete any post that violates the Posting Rules IF the violation occurs in a thread in which the flow is dependant on the user, when posts are removed the Moderators will be sending you a PM informing you of such. * Of course all other Just4Dosti posting rules apply here as well (ie, language, content matter), and more rules may be added at any time as deemed necessary. Your Dosti Zone Over quite some times, we've put a lot of effort into turning this board into an enjoyable and hospitable forum... not one cluttered with two or three people replying to each other. This should be a fun forum Just4Dosti Members looks forward to checking up on and participating in, not dread coming to. Now that the basic posting rules have been listed, let's continue getting the bad news out of the way and outline what sort of Spamtastic games and threads are NOT allowed. Dread the Just4Dosti List of Threads that Will Be Closed: * Related to the Ultimate and Mighty Posting Rule is the Any Thread With Less Than Five Participants shall be closed Rule. (This means if a thread dies, it dies. It also means to STOP REPLYING TO YOURSELVES! If you wish to joke around with a few Just4Dosti friends, try an online chat, but don't take up our server space with your own personal conversations.) * AIM Gossip Game Okay... so that's actually taking a good chunk out of the board now, isn't it? What's left? We want the games to be fun and entertaining, something that people will look forward to checking the boards for. But remember, the Just4Dosti Forum is little without you and your creativity. Have an idea for a new game, and you feel it will be a positive addition to the board?
